I have been tracking the rise and rise of Agentic AI for quite a while - since before the phrase 'agentic' or 'agent' was really in mainstream use. Before then, it was all about 'getting AI to do things'.

Claude Code launch was probably the turning point for me. Prior to this, I was readily using the likes of ChatGPT and Claude (and many more) but it was very much turn-based and although I often found the results staggering, I also spent a lot of time correcting things.

Since I got my hands on Claude Code, I haven't looked back. The rapid iteration of the service across the weeks and months after launch enabled me to begin to experiment with and then start experiencing 'agentic moments' routinely.

It wasn't until [Sterling Chin](https://sterlingchin.com/?ref=trackingagenticai.com) got started with [Marvin](https://github.com/SterlingChin/marvin-template?ref=trackingagenticai.com) [(updated)](https://github.com/SterlingChin/marvin-desktop?ref=trackingagenticai.com) that I really caught the inspiration to create my own Agentic systems. I had created a ton of automation and a super amount of point-click-and-manage services for a lot of my websites and systems. Sterling developed a series of markdown files and scripts that he called Marvin to help him use Claude Code as a Chief of Staff. He open-sourced it. I think I came across it on Reddit one day. I'm so pleased I did. That really, really changed things for me and showed a very different approach. So I am indebted to Sterling and the inspiration I got from him and Marvin. My primary agent is still called Marvin today. I'll write more about this in due course.

Which brings us to this website.

Alongside the writing I do on LinkedIn, I decided this morning that I wanted the ability to post publicly about the era, the news, the events and my thoughts as we go.

Fittingly, I registered the domain on Cloudflare - with my bare hands (I typed and pressed buttons to register it) - then I got Marvin to sort out the rest. I mean everything else.

Oh, I did type in my name and I generated a random password to create the account here. Marvin sorted out the Ghost CMS setup, the mailgun setup (so the system can send transaction emails) and also setup the email system behind the domain so I can send/receive with the *trackingagenticai.com* domain.

So, welcome dear reader. You're very welcome. I'll be bringing over a lot of my previous posts, hidden away on my LinkedIn profile here in due course. I'll also aim to writing original bits and pieces here. As you can probably tell already, I prefer a conversational tone.

Are we all sitting comfortably? ;-)
